Brad D. Smith

Brad D. Smith has been the President of Marshall University since January 2022. Mr. Smith served as Executive Chairman of Intuit Inc. from January 2019 until January 2022, having previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2008 to December 2018 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors from January 2016 to December 2018.

Mr. Smith currently sits on the boards of Amazon, Humana, and the Marshall Health Network and is a co-founder of the Wing 2 Wing Foundation. He also served as a director of Nordstrom from 2013 to 2022 and SurveyMonkey from 2017 to 2022.

Mr. Smith graduated from Marshall University and received a Master’s degree in Management from Aquinas College.
