Firm recognized for efforts to address economic opportunity and other pressing global issues

July 11, 2016 (New York, NY) – JPMorgan Chase & Co. has been recognized by the Euromoney Awards for Excellence as the “World’s Best Bank for Corporate Social Responsibility.” The annual award was given to the firm “for its commitment and innovative approach to facilitating solutions to the world’s most pressing issues.”
In a highly competitive category, JPMorgan Chase stood apart from other financial service companies for its focus on addressing economic opportunity through several initiatives, including its $100M commitment to Detroit, the creation of the JPMorgan Chase Institute and the Financial Solutions Lab and its support of the Catalyst Fund and Global Health Investment Fund with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. These efforts, combined with global efforts focused on addressing skills development in the U.S., South Africa, France, India and elsewhere around the world, contributed to the win.

Euromoney also cited the firm’s leadership in underwriting Green Bonds and its founding sponsorship of NatureVest, the impact investing unit at The Nature Conservancy created to accelerate private investment in conservation.
