Sustainable supply chain
Our procurement process is designed to embed sustainability in our sourcing and demand management processes.
This includes implementing carbon reduction projects to help reduce our Scope 3 Category 1 (Purchased Goods and Services) emissions.
We also work with current suppliers who may not meet our ESG standards, providing them with resources to reduce their environmental impact so they can keep growing with us. This approach at scale promotes change across global supply chains by making sustainable options the requirement instead of the exception.
Labor and human rights
We work with our suppliers to ensure we’re prioritizing labor and human rights. All people have the right to work in a safe and healthy environment and be treated with respect and dignity. We work to uphold these rights in everything we do.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires suppliers to have programs and oversight practices in place to respect human rights. Suppliers are also obligated to report concerns of suspected violations of the law, regulations related to our business or violations of the Supplier Code of Conduct.
With the help of our stakeholders, we continue to strengthen our standards and to meet the needs of all communities we serve.
Supply Diversity
JPMorganChase is committed to building a strong and inclusive supplier base. Our Global Supplier Diversity program is focused on facilitating the growth and development of businesses in our supply chain network; promoting equity and inclusion across our entire portfolio of supply chain business partners and driving economic growth in the communities in which we do business.
JPMorganChase is leveraging the strength of its total procurement organization, business and community partners to lower common barriers faced by diverse businesses. This includes innovative solutions such as our Corporate Alliance for Supplier Capital, an initiative to help small and underrepresented businesses around the U.S. to meet corporate requirements.
Supply chain accountability
We believe in holding ourselves and our suppliers to high standards of business conduct and integrity. We have a zero tolerance policy for breaches of ethics and expect our suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct (which incorporates the JPMorganChase Supplier Anti-Corruption Policy).
Our agreements require suppliers to have programs and oversight practices in place that meet expectations. As a global financial institution, we monitor evolving ESG regulations that impact our supply chain and take a risk-based approach to ESG controls.
